It was mostly downhill and flat today as the Ardennes hills dropped into the Moselle valley. Passed through the city of Luxembourg into Thionville in France, then Metz to Nancy, a long day of 160 km. The big weekend is coming up, but have booked into the hostel at Vesoul, another long day.

The current plan is to cut through the Vosges to Geneve and then to La Clusaz, Bourg St. Maurice and south. All is well, warm sunny weather continues.
