Well, today was the day when the ascent of the highest road in Europe, the Col d l'Iseran, happenned. It was mostly downhill to Val d'Isere, which was in a festive way owing to a huge autocross rally this weekend with all the major European marques represented. Actually, the preliminary climbing I'd done in the previous two days made it really not too difficult, and the view of the Vanoise on the way down was awesome. Stayed the night at Lanlesbourg where I met a fellow biker on the way back from a 2,500 km tour of Italy.
